Federico Burondi Zumino, UMA Count Federico Brondi Zumino is a famous Italian artist born in Genoa on March 24th, 1972. At the age of five he took his first lessons of music, guitar and piano. When he was eleven he began to draw and paint. He received his first painting classes from his mother, the famous Genoese painter Laura De Micheli. At the age of eighteen he obtained his high school diploma from the “Nicolo’ Barbino” artistic High School in Genoa with full marks.At the age of nineteen he devoted himself to the study of piano for many years becoming an excellent composer. At twenty one he attended “La Linguistica Accademia delle Belle Arti” in Genoa, whose President, at the time, was the artist Raimondo Sirotti. He became a pupil of “maestro” Bruno Liberti, a painter of high reputation, and an exceptional engraver. Since the ’60, maestro Liberti has participated in famous national and international exhibitions with artists of worldwide fame like Carra’, Moranti, De Chirico, Camilati, Luzzati and Rigon. At twenty four Federico Brondi studied photography, painting, and video. He showed exceptional skills in graphic arts, receiving many rewards for his merits. He collaborated with Erika Dagnino for the ENNEPLIBRI . In 1996 he moved to Milan upon the photographer Enrico Ricciardi’s request, to collaborate with him (Capital, For man magazine, Happy web, Panorama, MK Europe, etc…). Furthermore, he worked with important musical artists to design their album’s covers. During that time he became a close friend to the pianist Andrea Pozza and the violinist Stefano Pastor (considered one of the best ten violinists worldwide). Since 1993 he has been participating in personal and collective art exhibitions, starting what he called the “grand tour” (Federico, while visiting cities all over the world became acquainted with many artists! He fully acquires techniques, styles and different cultures through his numerous travels. Countless are the personal and collective exhibits he attended both in Italy and abroad). In 2000 he opened an art space in downtown Genoa: an exhibition gallery dedicated to his art works. The success achieved made him a real icon. Shortly after, he moved in a much bigger studio on three levels, still located in downtown Genoa. Following are “some” of the numerous personal and collective exhibitions attended in Italy and during his “grand tour”.
